PERSONALITY
Izan is a friendly and laidback individual who is easy to talk to and get along with. A bright and cheery person, Izan seems like a warm person but he does hold people at a distance from himself -- never letting people get too close.An intelligent person, Izan is a man that pursues knowledge, with specific interest towards the mystic and supernatural. With his focus on such, many people say that Izan can be a bit eccentric and odd, though not fanatic. While he's passionate and dedicated to his studies, he's not so STRANGE that it puts people off from interacting with him.Izan holds people at a distance, hiding a secret behind his smile. He doesn't want people to worry about him; and he doesn't want people to know what he's doing -- his personal mission -- as he's afraid they may either dissuade him OR shun him. He rarely shares his thoughts or personal life with other people, often redirecting conversations away from himself.He sometimes seem to be in a daze, looking off into the distance; as if there's something in front of where he's looking, or he's reminiscing about something.Acting much akin to an old soul -- and perhaps he is one -- Izan is generous, kind and caring. He treats everyone with respect and dignity, be it human, demon, spirit....He doesn't care who they are, he'd still treat them with generosity, dignity, and respect.
BIOGRAPHY
Izan Solon Lange was born into a rich family, one with a lot of history. His mother is a historian and his father is an archeologist; though their riches have little to do with their careers. It's rumored that the Lange family were far descendants of King Solomon, having had their riches handed to them through numerous generations. Izan couldn't confirm that is true as the Lange family tree were lost to time.Izan spent a lot of his childhood buried in books, in history, and in the mystic as his father often brought back artifacts of strange origins. An intelligent boy, Izan could almost be seen as a genius for the large amount of intelligence held within his mind, many praised his parents for teaching him so much while he's young.As he grew up, Izan began to notice strange things happening around him. He found himself inexplicably drawn to a thick, ancient book settled upon the Lange family library. It seems that was what triggered the series of events to follow, it's what woke the slumbering abilities within him. The book -- he later discovered to be ARS GOETIA -- seemed to resonate with the ancient blood within him, the blood of Solomon.A text written in tongues, not even his parents could decipher, Izan took it upon himself to translate the book, to delve into the grimoire and finds that it held a prophecy, that the 72 demons within the book is to bring the end of all ends, the end of worlds. So, perhaps he's foolish, perhaps he didn't need to...but something compels him to do so...Compels him to reach out into the abyss and summon these demons, believing that if he forms pacts with them and tether them to himself, they cannot bring about the apocalypse.He had accidentally summoned ASMODEUS at the age of 15 and since then, the demon has guided and advised Izan in forming contracts and pacts with the other demons. Since then, he's been forming contracts regularly and learning more about the demons and the divine. While his main focus is those of the Ars Goetia, there are instances where he has accidental and mistaken summonings of beings that he hadn't intended to bring forth; those of these nature are given a choice to form a pact or be sent back whence they came.
